What is a life coach and what do I do?
It is my aim to be the person that you can turn to and who can assist you in exploring new opportunities, overcome fears, phobias, negative emotions etc. and to assist you in improving your lifestyle and achieving your goals.
I am not a substitute for a psychologist or therapist. My aim is to help you with different techniques and strategies to find the solution that is right for your needs. Through consultation we will come to an agreed plan of action to reach your desired goal. Together we will work through problems that you have in your life and get you to a point in your life where you are able to do the things you really want to do and to be the best you can be.
People normally consult a life coach because they have reached a point where they want to change. Some have unwanted behaviours, habits or fears that they want to overcome. Some have family issues or work stresses or feel overwhelmed by something from their past. Whatever it is, I help you to change your way of thinking using NLP. I will teach you simple techniques you can use over and over again to overcome these problems effectively.
What’s involved in a typical Session?
Sessions are normally 1 to 2 hours, depending on your situation. As each session is tailored to your needs, they will differ.
Most of the work is done conversationally – in other words, whilst we’re chatting or doing a visualisation exercise, positive change is taking place at a deep unconscious level. So you will always be conscious and in control.
